Giovanni Savarese

In August 2010, Giovanni joined the New York Cosmos in the role of Director of the Cosmos Academy. Gio's career has been with the Long Island Rough Riders, then drafted to MetroStars (rebranded RedBulls) where he still holds the record for most goals scored, he worked with the RedBulls for the Youth Development Program.  Saverese also serves as commentator for Thursday night soccer on ESPN deportes.  He continues to coach youth teams in New York working as Director of the Cosmos Academy with a focus on developing world-class youth talent in New York.

 

 

 

 


 

Code of Conduct:  Parents & Players please remember we are permitted to play in these public parks and we should pick-up after ourselves when leaving the field so that we may continue using these fields.  Our conduct should also reflect the highest level of respect and sportsmanship for the game, the official and the opponent.  Players and spectators are encouraged to cheer for the opposing team and their own team.
